Outlook "add-in" and MAPI service provider that adds the ability to read, create and reply to
newsgroup articles from within Outlook.
With NewsHound you can perform all your newsgroup activities right
in Outlook, using the same interface and features
that you are already comfortable with. Newsgroup
articles can be sorted, searched, organized, archived
and manipulated using all of the advanced features of
Outlook.
New in version 2.0: Full support for downloading
headers!
One of the biggest requests we received is the
ability to download headers. NewsHound 2.0 is the
only Outlook NNTP add-in that has full support
for downloading headers, including manual header marking
and retrieval, as well as automatic article downloading
when you view a header (just like Outlook Express).
Version 2.0 also adds the ability to download articles
(and headers) from multiple newsgroup servers
simultaneously, support for secure SSL connections, the
ability to schedule newsgroup downloads using the
Windows task scheduler, and many more new features.
NewsHound also has the ability to colorize newsgroup
articles. Quoted text and signature lines in newsgroup
articles can be displayed in your choice of colors and
styles, making articles much easier to read.
